At BARKS, we’re run 100% on donations, fundraising and a whole heap of goodwill.
We’re determined to help every furry little face that crosses our threshold.
And that’s where you come in. ...
To help BARKS in our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals, all you have to do is pick the donation or support option(s) that suit you best, and you’re on your way to saving a lost and lonely animal.

There are various ways you can donate to BARKS - cash, goods or gifts from our Amazon Wishlist. Every bit helps and all proceeds go directly to running the two BARKS centres and covering the daily costs of animal care. Just pick the donation options that you prefer and become part of BARKS’ animal rescue mission.

Temporary home
Do you have space in your home to give temporary shelter to a BARKS rescue animal while they recuperate and wait for their new home?
Long-term home
Alternatively, do you have enough love to give to an elderly cat looking for long-term, rest-of-life care?
When you run a charity based 100% on donations, fundraising is the name of the game!
At BARKS, we’re not only on the look-out for generous volunteers to help at our regular fundraising dates; we also need creative bods to come up with and lead exciting new ideas for our small team to deliver. If you have professional event or marketing skills that’s all the better - it’s the purrfect way to feel good about your hard-won expertise!
In 2019 our novel fundraising projects included tote bags, antique valuations, upcycled curtains, cake baking and a village yard sale. From 2020, we aim to strengthen and streamline what we do. So get your thinking cap on!
Welcome to Young BARKS, our growing youth programme, where we aim to show young volunteers just how their time can help transform the lives of our furry friends.

With their long-term health conditions, these little fellows need extra special care and attention at a haven where they can spend the rest of their days warm and loved. To cover the costs of their care and treatment, they rely on sponsorship.
